KIDS MUSICAL THEATRE [Hybrid LIVE/Virtual]
(2nd-8th Grade)
Our Kids Musical Theatre Program has been the core of Class Act since 1985. Hybrid Live/Virtual Musical Theatre: We have adapted our kids theatre program to a half virtual/live platform. All weekday rehearsals will be held via zoom for 60-90 minutes and weekend rehearsals will be held in person (with social distancing, masks, etc) for 90 minutes on the weekend. The cast(s) will rehearse dialogue, music, and choreography from the safety of their home during the week and in person in our parking lot during the weekend. The kids will be engaging with our highly trained staff to prepare for a pre-recorded performance for friends and family to watch! (*Note: We usually begin at 6 years old, but have adjusted the age due to Covid-19)

REHEARSALS (SPRING 2021):

for one Zoom rehearsal and one Live rehearsal:

SEASON DURATION:
4 months - Mid February to May

Hybrid LIVE/pre-recorded performance will
be presented in the end of May.

WHAT HAPPENS IN REHEARSALS?
We have adapted our kids theatre program to a half virtual/Live platform. All weekday rehearsals

(outdoors with social distancing, masks, etc) for 90 minutes on the weekend. The cast(s) will rehearse dialogue, music, and choreography from the safety of their home during the week and in person in our parking lot during the weekend. The kids will be engaging with our highly trained staff to prepare for a LIVE/pre-recorded performance for friends and family to watch!

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have adapted our entire program to fit the safety needs of the community. Our board of directors has approved our use of in person rehearsals and each family and will need to sign our Covid waiver & abide by the strict rules we will put in place for LIVE rehearsals.
WHO TEACHES THE KIDS?
Our program is ran by Jessica Lauren (MFA, New School University) Ally Mulholland (AMDA) and supported by a number of assistant directors who are skilled at various aspects of theatre and child development.

TUITION:
Tuition includes weekly rehearsals, dress and tech rehearsals, pre-show recordings, pre-show editing, costumes, and a video of the performance. No hidden costume or rental fees. Payment plans available, as well as a sibling discount ($25 per child).
